March 18th

So I have some weird news..... I found out that I have Asthma (it's a breathing problem) ha well who knew right? The Dr. gave me an inhaler this week kinda cool! No wonder why I have had such a hard time breathing!
I was coughing up blood and was wicked sick. They told me I have a sinus and a ear infection so my head is a killing me but the doctor thinks the inhaler will help. It seems to be better!
I wish I could catch a break, the nurse looked at my record here and said it doesn't look like you have been healthy a single month!
and I said nope not since Utah! and she started laughing ....but it really wasn't that funny! hahaha
it sucks hahaha !
I've spent almost half my money this month in medicines trying to get better! :(
I've lost my voice but right now people have really been listening to me more than my comp and its helped me allot!
I have realized I have learned allot from my last comp Elder Ardaya! I really miss him

So this week I didn't get to leave the house very much because I was sick. I only left Friday,Saturday and Sunday and today I stayed in with the dictrict leader cause he knows me and my comp can't be together for to long! I get very frustrated with him! I'm learning patience but not fast enough.

I'm very ready to get out of here....Today we went and played soccer as a zone! but I had to sit out half the time because my comp didn't want to play so he didn't bring clothes I didn't know that until we got there.
so I had to sit out too because the teams were unfair. :( sweet right ??? He's a real peach!
Today he went with the other missionary to the church to play the piano while me and another dude are hanging with the other missionaries its been a good time :)

Next week I got a baptism set up. I'm pretty excited. She reminds me allot of Mattea. She is 14 years old and very shy her name is Ericka. She may want to get baptized in the river too! I'm really excited!

I've tried hard to become very loving (It is one of my biggest goals right now) we had to go give the old grandma a blessing again and right as she saw me she started bawling and I just held her hand and kept telling her that she was gonna be alright and all the other elders thought I was crazy holding this old woman's hand but it just made me think of how much my grandma means to me. And if grandma great was sick like that I would want a missionary to be the exact same way to her!

My first baptism Ariel he is legitttttt he goes to church every week! I'm giving him a white shirt and one of my ties this week! He is soo cool he asked me when I am going to leave this area and I said probably 5 weeks and he started crying and it was hard cause he is just 17 . Its' good to have him around cause I have a hard time with my comp.

My other baptism Sonia is doing good too! Today is her Birthday we are going to go make her a cake and corn dogs so we got a sweet cake mix ha ha!

March 11th

Hey.. What's up family?

Well my buddy Elder Zilm is leaving (being transferred) I'm way upset. I will be staying in this area. I love the area I was just hoping for a change. The area that I am in is very small.

I've had a rough week with my comp this last week. He is also our district leader and he was way sick this week and since Elder Zilm was being transferred I told my companion I would go work with Elder Zilm one day and my comp the next 2 so he could still be working not just sitting in the house all week!
So I worked with my comp on Wednesday and Thursday because we had our "P" day then the next day the baptism and then 2 days of work is it! so I was so happy I got to worked with Zilm. We have a mission goal to talk to 75 people every week! so I was shooting for 75 so I went with Zilm and got lots of work -- It was prime! Then the next day I asked my comp if he wanted to go work and he said no not really so I was kinda bummed just cause he is super lazy!!! He said he only wanted to get 40 contacts for the week so I didn't work with my comp all week cause we are not getting along so hot. I have a hard time with him eating my food and going through my packages and he has a hard time that I tell him not to use my things! so I was very ready to get changed out of here! or at least get a new companion. But I'm not.. I have got one more change here for sure.

This week we had 1 baptism 2 confirmations and I got my goals that I needed of 75 contacts.

I'm wicked sick right now (again) I have the worst cough I've ever had I'm spittin blood today. idk why I can't ever be healthy but I am getting so very very sick of it!

March 4th

Family!

Hey guess what? I got a baptism tomorrow! It was suppose to be this Saturday but yesterday we went to Stake Conference and we were taking the bus home she looked at me ( my investigator/ Sonia) and said "Hey now I can get baptized huh?" and I said "Yeah! We can do it any day now..." and she said "Can we today!? and I said "Yes we already have the river ready!" and she said she doesn't want to be baptized in the river and I said then my companion will baptize her in the church and she said! "Well I want you to do it!" so she will do it in the river.
So now me my companion and Elder Zilm are all going to be in the water we are doing it tomorrow I'm really excited that she picked me she told me she wants to buy me a present before I leave its really crazy how you get so close to people like this. I'm really excited to baptize her! Seriously I have always wanted to baptize someone in the river! Can't wait! :)

It seems like the last week was kinda a waste cause we had meetings and then we didn't get to do much because we have been getting ready for this baptism I'm super excited for Sonia! She told me yesterday she has never ever wanted to talk to the missionaries until me and Elder Arday came up to her door! She said that she felt she needed to! and now she's getting baptized tomorrow. I started crying yesterday when she told me that! I feel like I really am trying to be the best I can be.

I have to sleep with the air conditioner on so I don't get bitten by mosquitoes anymore. So now I have a cold a wicked bad sore throat gosh dang it!
Mom, did you send pills for my knee? I would love it if you could send me pain relievers because I'm still having a real rough time walking these long distances. I was with the zone leader and he wanted to call tell President about my knee but I told him I didn't want to because I don't want to get stuck in the office or sent to get surgery cause I'm doing just fine ...just gets locked sometimes.;).

I'm teaching primary right now! its pretty cool!


I felt that sometimes I have it rough, I mean with my knee that is garbage and I'm always sick but that's just a trial I have! I know it is something I can get through (and I have been like a champ! ha ha). I can't believe it! I mean I've got 8 months out here and it feels like its only be two!
I know I will learn the freakin' languages out here and be able to do this! I do really love the people here... I really do!

Feb 25th

Hey family so this week was a wild one. I finally got your package :) it was needed! I got some sweet things all the meds were needed! Thanks for the candy it is appreciated... the food here is rough!

We had a zone meeting so I was in on the office and they had a big speech about sickness if we are sick we need to talk to the nurse so I went up to her and said I've been throwing up for about 3 weeks now and she looked at my arms cause I have mosquito bites and she said its probably just the flu. but after lunch she came up to me bawling and said she has never ever felt like she needed to send anyone to the hospital but she sent me to get a test for Dengay! I just started crying cause I said this would be my second time having it and I got scared cause the second time you get it you either get sent to the states or to another mission! so she sent me to get a Dengay test! it was way scary but they even said a prayer for me but I got my results back and it was negative but it really showed me how hard it is going to be to leave! because knowing if I get Dengay again will never ever be able to come to this country again! ...It really opened my eyes allot!

I've been working allot with this lady Sonia she was golden but she didn't come to church this week so I'm kinda worried cause I might leave in 2 weeks so if she gets baptized I won't be here and she told me she wants me to baptize her!

Morgan's team win state Saturday? That is so cool! I will be home her senior year and get to see her play I'm excited for that!


We got some new news !!! We just got the name of our new mission president..
He is from Bluffdale Utah! ha weird right?? His name is Something like Mclolin. He will get here the first week of July.
and there doing something weird where with all the new missions they are opening they are sending 3 areas from our mission the people that are in Cacupe San Lorenzo and Moroni to be Asuncion South missionaries. So in 2 changes I will have a new Mission President but I don't know if it will be in the mission I'm in now or in a completely different one ha wild right.
but maybe we can find out about this Mclonlin character ha ha.
