April 23 transferred!

Hey mom :)
I just came in to tell that I got changes I will be leaving this area I'm going to be the Sr. comp to a Argentina kid I'm staying in the North mission so I will meet the mission president that's coming. I'm the closest area to the South mission you can get its called laurelty.
I go tommorrow morning.

April 22nd

Hey Family :)
So this week I had a baptism this kid named Osmar. It was pretty cool! He is the brother of the girl we just baptised ( Erika) He is pretty cool but it was weird, I went to baptise the fool and he didn't plug his nose... I told him and he yelled! so I didn't know what to do so I just forced him under pulled him back up and everyone was laughing ha so he tried to dunk me after.... but that sure didn't happen!

Yeah another cool story so I was shooting sling shots with my buddy Ariel and we were shooting fences and trees and I shot his chicken and killed it haha (don't worry...I bought him a new chicken )but it was a sweet shot!

The other day, I was at the bishops and I don't like his torillas he makes because he cooks them like 2 hours and they were cold and like a spounge so I chucked it in the trees and a freakin' chicken runs grabs it and runs into his house with it !!!! ha gosh dangit right ?!!

Today was just hanging out with Elder Rigby and Elder Svedin pretty cool!

Changes are today I will find out before I'm done emailing today because my trainer Elder Gordon just became comps with Elder Ardaya (my old comp) because now ElderArmstrong is the assistent.

But it's scary 9 missionaries are in the hospital with dengay and over 20 stuck in the house with dengay and dengay season doesn't start until May! I'm really worried with my immune system I have going right now!

I just got a call and I got my package :))
I haven't opened it yet but i got it :)I'm so excited to open it I really miss you guys so bad right now. I love you all so much!

April 15th

This week was GOLDEN we got a baptism for this Sunday!
Next Tuesday we have changes .

I bought new pants today all mine were ruined I just got one pair but it should be good for a while.

That's sweet mom about you getting to go to NYC this week on a promotion. I loved going on promotions with you guys it was so fun!

Next month I will be talking to you guys face to face again in skype I'm excited ! who knows where I will be weird to think about. ha ha

Hey mom can you send a cook book I would freakin love that. I would like to make bread and biscuits and everything. I'm about to leave this area and my chef and it's been great having food at home is ...awesome!

This is Deigo he is the nephew of the girl we just baptised (Ericka ). This Sunday were baptising his uncle it's super rushed but I think I will get a new area next Wednesdays so we are pushin for it.

Funny thing this little kid tupac he is in the other missionaries area and this week we went to eat there we do every Saturday and his mom told me when I leave he says I'm Elder OZi because no one can say my name so I go by Elder Ozi and she asked him all the other missionaries names ha he didn't know anyone but me..It was so funny! I really love the kids here!

April 8th

I'm having a great time now. Right now I'm getting along with my companion sweet we are really close now idk what happened lately I've been praying for patients a lot and I guess it's true what they say, Heavenly Father wont just give it to you, He gives you opportunities to strengthen yourself.


I think I will get changed this next transfer. There is a huge group of missionaries leaving this change and so they need senior comps and there are going to be 22 new sister missionaries so there are going to be a lot of missionaries that open new areas and my old comp recommended me to open a area and if not take his place in the area he just opened so idk what will happen I really like it here I'm just worried cause its getting winter so more mosquitos and I live right by the river.

Me and my comp have the same time left. I talked to the mission Pres and I told him that I hope that I will be home to play Lacrosse in Utah next season. He said I can get 30 days before my release date and my release date is June 18th so I'm hoping to be home in May. I hope next mothers day I might get to spend with you and mom here in Paraguay... thats' my real goal!

I want to ask something about my camera, it dies crazy fast I go through batteries like crazy!!! and they are so expensive can you send re chargable batteries and a charger please?

this week was gnarly we got a new investigator. Funny story, At Ericka's confirmation there was this guy and we totally thought it was her boyfriend but it ended up being her brother. I went and told him that I really liked his shoes and he said I really like your church!!! It was so cool ! He is very hard to get a hold of because he only has work off Saturday and Sunday so we haven't been able to talk to him but we have a fetcha for the baptism for the 23rd ( a planned date for baptism) I wanted to get it planned because I probably will be leaving this area on the 24th and I would really like another baptism.

Conference is a lot different in a different language. It was hard to understand a lot of it so I really looked forward to the songs and when things were in English. Its funny when they ask everyone to stand up and sing even they do it in a different country and they can't read they stand up and watch it's hilarious we had 9 people in our first session of conference 8 were missionaries and the other was my bishop so it wasn't to crazy here. I attended Priestood meeting. I loved President Ucdorpfs's talk. He is AMAZING!

I went to pizza hut here today...It was incredible! one of my highlights of my week for sure! Today I was hanging out in the city with Elder Gordon and Elder Andrel (he is from Jordan High) he has been in the hospital all week he got Dengay ...its Dengay season right now so its scary. poor guy, he hasn't been able to leave the house for a month ..its crazy right???
I almost had my first healthy week then I got food posioning! Dang it!
I'm home sick this week. I know it's Whits' Birthday.. gosh dang and it makes me miss everyone so much!

April 1st

Hey our baptism this week was prime! It was really cool! We had a big turn out. {I sent Whit a bunch of pic's if she can get them to you. I came in early to download pic's because the later we come the longer it takes to down load because there are many more people here.}
It was a fun day all together... They have a day here where they serve this stuff called chepa it's bread and cheese it's good I guess and they have a official day for it here and it was the same day of our baptism. Everyone cooks it and gives it away my comp was way mad cause I kept getting secretly invited to chepa. The people would give it to me and he didn't get very much .. Gosh Dang! ha ha .

Easter wasn't really all that neat without my family! It was really hard actually. I still had a couple or bead bracletes that you guys had made and sent me so I took them to church and gave them to my primary class!

On Friday here they have a day where the people can't leave the house ,cook, listen to music ...nothing and no one talks to us was rough!
We ended up going to the temple it was way cool I got asked to do confirmations so I worked a hour before the session and a couple hours after doing that was really neat. After the session we then did some baptisms was wicked cool.
The temple was awesome I got to do confirmations for a long time I liked it a lot I was going to do the baptisms but I let my comp because he rushes everything so we let him practice on us. He baptized us in the temple and after we had to wash the walls because he was making huge spalshes cause he's a crazy!!!

Tonight we have special changes I don't think I will leave until the 24th but I have the most time in my area now so who knows!

Ariel my first convert got the priesthood this week and it was awesome! He was stoked!
I found him a white shirt and give it to him
This week I'm going to give him one of my tie's. I'm getting really crazy close with him it's gonna be hard to say goodbye when the time comes :( !


I had a meeting with mission president he asked how long I've been sick and I said how long have I been here???? Ha ha and he said 9 1\2 months... I said well then almost 10 months ha ha ha ( and he laughed).

Who knew I had asthma..ha ha weird right? I'm okay mom no worries .

I tried not using the inhaler to see if it was asthma and my chest was killing me so I guess it really is huh?



I would love it if you would send me those oils Mom. The nurse called me and was talking to me about it and said "I can't tell you to take the oils its against the rules for me to say what ones but if you have this use it like this and it was funny she uses them too! she said there is one I can buy to put in shampoo so its like bug spray! idk if you know about that but I would be interested in that one too.


I got the PACKAGE!!!! So excited for the protein, I'm losing weight again and the protein should help.
Gosh, I love you so much! Thank you so much I will start using it and hopefully gain weight again :))))!

Sunday was a testimony meeting and I stood up and just shared my testimony that I know this church is true. If I didn't I wouldn't be in Paraguay cause I had so much to leave its not easy but if it wasn't true I would just be wasting my time! It was cool!



Dad I do have a testimony of what I'm doing here. I've had a hard time here (you know that) with my health and the language with my bum knee.... seriously. I've have had ton of reason to be home ( in real!)
but if I didn't have a testimony of this gospel.......I wouldn't be here! cause this isn't easy for me but I know that this is true!
I'm workin on 10 months weird right

For my Birthday package I would love some ties....anything bright! I'm going to give my converts a tie like Ariel .
They would love it! I just love anything from home:).

March 25th

Hey ..what's up family?

So this week was really hard for me I had a crazy experience I will never ever forget!
I was going to teach this old ladies I felt I needed to go to the house but I decided not to go! So then 3 days later I felt it again I decided to go in and talk to the old people!
The old lady told me her daughter was very sick and right as she walked out she stopped talking about her daughter like she was scared of her!
She grabbed my arm and shook my hand! and I felt like everything in the world leave me! I felt the worst evil I've ever felt I stood up and told my companion we had to leave! I walked out and she kept following us! and I was creeped out but we ended up going back and offering a prayer in the house because I have never felt that awful I really couldn't get it out of my head all week I asked the zone leaders come give me a blessing I was just not doing so good I didn't feel like I wanted to contact anyone old all week long! I was scared to death! That house was scary man!...


This week we have a baptism. Her name is Ericka. I'm way excited so will be my 4th convert in this area! pretty cool right???
I've been trying a lot harder to be a better companion and we have been able get along he always tells me he hates that he hasn't baptized anyone so this Wednesday we have a baptism and we told the girl how much it would mean to my companion if he could baptize her so he gets to do it this week! pretty cool!

Bronson's already leaving? That's weird .. It's crazy how they can go now when they are 18. Lucky! man, I've been gone 9 months now that's a long freakin time! I still have a lot of time left.. but its moving.

This week was wild I broke my hair cutters they exploded so I had to pay to have someone to cut my hair sucked!!! Then I came home and fixed my clippers (kind of) cause I didn't like my haircut . I look like a fool!

We have been going to the gym everyday now I've been trying to strengthen my knee but everything just hurts it. Hopefully it will get better soon..I'll figure it out sooner or later!

I really miss you all so much! Easter's gonna be weird not waking up and looking for eggs with Mattea what the freaks she gonna do have a Easter egg hunt alone? gosh dang!
Seriously though I'm really excited for Easter this year. We get to go to the temple on Friday! Pretty stoked about that! and then Wednesday we have our Baptism.

They say it's weird here at Easter. people walk around with giant crosses with candles and or have pictures of the virgin Mary. They seem to worship her more than Christ. ha weird right haha

So Preslie calle's me Trebert? I like it ! I'm so excited to talk to the little girls on Mother's day!
I've been having a rough go lately getting homesick. Ha ha it's because the other 2 missionaries we live with are one goes home in 4 weeks the other in 2 months and I still have 15 months. It's all good though it's just been hard hearing about home so much and how excited they are and it just makes me more home sick cause my family is my world!
