A little bit of our emails from Trev

Whit you can post this to end his blog- If you have a letter from you or Sam you would like to post do..I just didn’t have one to add. Also if you have a few pictures from the airport or shortly after he came home add those too. I have some on my camera you can down load too.  Don’t update it on my facebook just the blog. I will send a copy to my mom so she can finish her book that she is doing on him too.

  Monday 8/12

Whats up fam? so this week was a lot different so I haven’t slept very good the last couple months I was sleeping like 3 or 4 hours a night  I’ve been talking to the doctor here! and she was giving me sleeping pills and I still haven’t been sleeping! so I called the mission president and told him what was going on . . . all week I have been in and out of the hospital and the office today I went to the doctor for my knee and tomorrow I am getting a MRI

Im coming home . . .

if not just for my knee for my health for being sick and for my sleeping.
I haven’t been healthy my whole mission and I have been having interviews with the mission president trying to help me out for a long time I didn’t want to be saying anything I didn’t want you all to be disappointed in me.

but I cant keep getting sick and being depressed I have another doctors appointment tomorrow for my knee...

I have been seeing doctors mom!

I have been trying and keeping it from you all! I just want you to be proud of me still! and know that I love you! All of you!

Everyone has been surprised and amazed I’ve made it as far as  I have..I have the longest medical record here :( I haven’t been healthy and  I’ve tried so hard…Seriously I’ve given it my best and I’ve learned a lot and that doesn’t make me a failure!) It’s not just the knee its my health I haven’t slept more than 3 hours a night for months its just my sicknesssess

I love you Family!

I told the mission president that I would like to come back if I get home and everything gets better and I feel I need to come back  really would like to come back to this mission  He said he would love to have me back here. We were going to call you on Wednesday and than on Saturday but we wanted to wait until I got the MRI results and see if I started sleeping again.

Tomorrow I have A MRI for my knee I fell running up stairs and hit my knee on the railing and its swollen and bruised and so there sending to get a MRI to make sure that’s not a problem later we will figure it all out…It’s the same knee that I have had issues with from the start of my mission.

I love you family! I’m sorry if I’m a disappointment or not a big role model anymore
I hope you all still love and support me like I love you

I don’t want to be a disappointment in your eyes..

I have gone threw hell and now I can’t sleep and I’m losing weight like crazy and its time for me to get better!

It is Final mom!

I love you and I miss you

I hope I can still be a hero in your eyes

Letter from Mom- Trevor~

I love you to the moon and back!

I want you to know that I will never be disappointed in you!  You have endured much!

You and your mission President will make the right decision .

You need to get better

~Love

Mom

Letter from Sharla-Of course I’m still proud of you and ill ALWAYS love you! You’re my little brother and I’m very grateful for that! I have to tell u, I have been really emotional today, just worried about you and if you’re ok and paisley said, "mom are you sad?" I told her that I was sad because trevy is sad and she made me cry harder because she wanted to say a prayer for trevy! So I said a prayer and explained to her that heavenly father will give u a hug for us since we cant right now with you being so far away and she told me, trevy will be happy! I love him and he loves me!  This is not made up. I love my sweet pais, life is so simple at that age and her spirit and testimony really help me! These girls will always look up to you no matter what as well as so do I! I know you have given it your all and that’s what matters! I hope you felt our hug and love from home! We cant wait to see you!!!

Letter from Wes-Hey Bro its Wes! I love you man! You are my hero and I am very proud of you! I’m so sorry that I haven’t been as big of a support as I should have been to you! I hope you know we are grateful for the service you have done and we will never be ashamed of whatever decision you make. Your decision is between you and the Lord, not anyone else.

I feel bad that you have been sick and had different trials throughout your mission. You have had some great testimony building experiences though and that is what is important. Never forget the things you learned and felt on your mission. Its easy to get caught up in other things when you’re not a missionary anymore. I love you bro and will support you to the end!!! ;)

8\15- Hey mom I just wanted to write and tell  you that I’m am getting a MRI this Tuesday I thought it  was going to be  2 days ago but it didn’t work out so this Tuesday and I already  have an appointment!

I’m hoping that I don’t need knee surgery ha but the thing worrying the doctors the most  is that I cant sleep! and I’m just exhausted .. Because of the Dengay Fever my immune system is weak and so I’m catching every sickness because I’m just soooooooo weak and sleepy! But my mind doesn’t shut off at night so I can sleep

I’ve lost my happy and can’t find it

We had a conference this week with our Mission  president and we had to do practices in front they made me do it in front of everyone!

I felt so exhausted that I almost cried!

I want you all to know I know what I’m doing here as a missionary is true!

I know that the church is true and the only through Jesus Christ we can return to live with our families forever!

I know that God restored his church through Jose Smith!

I know that this is true!

i haven’t ever doubted it!

I LOVE YOU ALLLLL! With my whole heart thanks for loving and supporting me!

i am ready! i want to get healthy again ive had a rough go and ive given it my all and i cant be sick anymore! i just need to be healthy and happy!

i love you all and thank you for being such a big part of my life!

Your kid

Trevor

Letter from Steve-

Dear Son

I hope that this last week has been a much better week for you. When you are down and out, we suffer too.

Trev no one said that a mission was going to be easy, and every missionary struggles. Everyone in life has their own challenges that they struggle with. You are not alone. Learning to overcome or deal with is the challenge. If it is that the Mission President and Doctors feel that you need to come home, then we will all be fine with that. Otherwise, you need to dig deep and go to work. You have big requests of the Lord and he may be testing you to see how committed you are to him before he can bless you with your requests. You can do what you set out to do.

Now I have some things for you to think about.

·         Have you done everything in your power to be healthy, eat right, drink right waters, wash foods, avoid activity that may hurt knee? If not, you haven’t done your part. Remember how you were always after me for eating sweets? If I can’t do my part, how am I supposed to be healthy. That goes for you too!!!!

·         Have you Obeyed ALL of the Mission Rules?

You need to follow all of the rules to receive all of the blessings. Do as the handbook says and you will improve. I Promise You! In Mosiah 2;22-24, it states that if we keep the commandments, we will be blessed immediately.

·         There is nothing more important that you at 20 could be doing for you and for the Lord than finishing this mission. There is nothing here that you need to be a part of now. We are all fine. The Lord is blessing us and we still need those blessings Trust the Lord. He will make everything right for you.

·         A year and a half ago, something happened when you approached the Lord about a mission. You have never told us about that night, but it must have been special. Whatever happened is still true today. You can re approach the Lord for confirmation. HE LOVES YOU IMMENSELY!

·         LASTLY, lots of people are soooooooo proud of you, they are praying for you and they are looking to you for an example. Just last night, Grandma Great said how proud she is of you. For whatever reason, she thinks you walk on water. She says that you and her have something special. So many people think the same.

Now Trev, You have a great work to do in this life. BELIEVE IT. You have a special way about making people feel good about themselves. Go Forward, Love the People, Forget about everything but the work and know that you will be home before you know and great blessings will await you. I Promise You. Have I ever lead you astray? I want nothing but the best for you.

I Love You with all of my heart and always will. I know that you will make the right choice with fasting and prayer.

8\20

I got the MRI today and tomorrow I will get my results! I had to take a bus this morning with my companion at 3 in the morning!

The Mission nurse gave me the BOMB the pill to kill all my bugs inside me. I am just drained right now cause just spend the days in the bathroom sick! hahah fun right!

It’s super hot here right now its weird how the weather changed so fast!

This week I’ve had a very rough time with my companion! harder than ever!

The reason for this is he is very prideful and the last 2 month he was getting extra money to pay for the house and he was spending it and wasn’t paying the house bill! so then he got changes to be my companion and only had 50 mil for the month! and we started on the 5th so 50 mil to last 25 days! and we get 850 for the month! so I was helping him out by buying all the groceries, paying for the bus and doing everything I could to be the best companion Ii could to make it so we didn’t have a single problem! until this week he pulled out his money and had it the whole time and was just trying to get free stuff from me all month! I was pretty chapped!

I talked to the President again today. He said I’m like a horse at a horse pull!

I’m just at the line weighting to explode because I’ve gone from sickness to sickness and injury to injury and now its got to the point where I’m catching every sickness because I can’t sleep and my body is just plain worn out.

I have done more praying than I have ever done in my life! I have been studying and trying harder being 100% obedient trying to do everything to be happy to try to be healthy again! I can honestly say I have given it my all to be happy and healthy

I have to go..Ii got a noche de hogar and a lesson to teach.family night noche de hogar.

Ii love you family! Thanks for the prayers and the love!

I really need it right now I’ve been threw a rough time and telling you I  was sick and needed to come home was the hardest thing I’ve ever done! because I never want you to be disappointed or ashamed of me!

I do have a testimony and Know this is true!

I know the Jesucritso died for us! and solo mediante el podemeos volver a vivr con nuestro familias siempre!

y tambien jose smith es un profeta de dios

y dioes resturo su evangelio mediante jose smith!

y solo podemos volver a vivir con nuestro familias si vivimos eso evangelio!

I know this is true …I do and I love you all…. thanks for loving me

Love ,

Trevor

8/26- We got exchanges I ended up getting Elder Zilm  (He is Elder Armstrong’s kid! the one I lived with in Piquete Cue ) .We got together today I told the mission president I would be with him.

I love you family!
I want the happy back

Trevor spent almost 3 weeks in the Mission home seeing Dr.’s and trying to get better. In the end it was determined that Trevor needed to come home and see Dr.s in America.

We as a Family are so proud of our Trevor  for serving the people in Paraguay! We welcome him home ( Almost 40 lbs skinner)and we just want to Love on him!  We are doing all we can to get him better. He has been a trouper to be sick for 15 long months. We love to hear his stories and feel the love he has for these dear people who were so poor and humble yet so happy. To the Chavez Family… I will forever be thankful for your sacrifice was great! We love you and will forever be in your debt ..Thank you for taking care of our son when you had little to give…

Trevor has so many great experiences and made dear friendships that will last a life time! Trevor especially loved the little kids and they in turn loved him! Most of the pictures he sent home was of these beautiful children hanging on him. Trevor shared the Gospel with many and there were many who excepted and listened to the message and were baptized. Trevor loves serving people! He has a gift .. He loves and accepts people. People are drawn to him and feel his love.  Trevor will always treasure the memories with these good humble people who gave so much to feed and care for the missionaries… Paraguay will forever be in his heart!    Trevor you are our HERO and like the poster the Keigley family made for you…..Mission accomplished!  WELCOME HOME SON!

August 5th

Hey family I got changes I got a new companion again :(

I had an interview with the President and I got another “Special Assignment”….I’ll tell you more details about it in my letter! I was really upset because Me and Elder Ortiz were working our guts out and really tearing it up! We were so happy and I finally got a comp that wanted to work! I’m feeling really bummed! I feel super crushed right now.  I at first didn’t think I wanted to be a trainer but knowing I was suppose to broke my heart and I’m kinda having a rough go right now! Elder Ortiz bawled his eyes out when he had to leave..We both did! I love that kid!

The mission president told me he needs me to be with  this new Elder because I’m loving and patient and he knows Osborne’s are loving and patient and I told him I don’t think you know the Osborne’s then (haha I’m not patient!)I’m frustrated because I’m working hard and being obedient! I’m trying to be positive but not much goes my way!

Me and my new comp Elder Laurente (He is from Peru and pretty young in the mission) will have 2 or 3 baptisms the next 2 weeks (I’m hoping anyways !)

We are going to  baptize this lady named Mirta . She’s wicked cool she has 4 kids and her husband just left them. Sad…
The other one is that little girl Nicole we are going to talk to her dad this week and get it all figured out.

Funny story:

We went did service project for a family the other day. We were cleaning the yard and we started a fire to burn all the dead branches and garbage around the yard. We had a little fire going so it didn’t get out of control and me and the member walk to the front yard to gather more garbage and  when we come back Elder Laurente my new companion started the huge pile on fire so we had to climb the trees and cut fast because he caught 2 trees on fire haha he’s a real special kid.

Did you put some money in my bank account? I need to buy water tonight.

The nurse called me and told me that she was going to get me that bomb pill …so I can get feeling better…Cool right? I just want to get feeling good again!

I took that member with us today to pizza hut for doing visits with us all week. His name is Gaspar he is a cool kid!

That’s Me, Elder Wolfgram and Gaspar.

Dad, I know I am good with the people I just wish I could be positive all time.. I think once I feel healthy I could be more positive.

I love you fam!

Good luck out there!

Pray for me and I will pray for you too!

Elder Osborne

July 29th

Mom if you could just send package and put some water money in my account that would be great! I need to buy some and I’m dead broke just cause I had to pay for the power I’m hoping to get paid back in a couple of weeks!  I would love some sun flower seeds, chap stick and short socks.

I’m wearing a hoodie in this pic I don’t think I’m suppose to wear it because it say’s Yankees across the front of it but I wear it Because it gets cold here I need to get pants I only have a couple pair and some shoes here too! I do have a couple of thin and not warm sweaters its super cold ha I either have a long shirt or a shirt with a sweater cause I don’t have enough clean to have them both always hahaha and only have 2 pants that I use ha but its alright ha it will be warm soon!

I bought a shirt last week its a long one it was like 20 dollars and a Indian lady made it I will send a picture next week I’m only going to wear it for baptisms because need a white shirt and everything is yellow now haha

This pic is the owners of our house I was teasing them told them we were just going to go home ant eat flour and water and so they invited us to eat at there houses sometimes now! And that’s there son Heraldo he loves me every time he sees me her runs and yells “Elmer!”  and gives me a hug we got in a water fight and that’s our water gun  we were on the same team vs all the big guys!

So yeah right here down the street from my house someone just got killed for 50 mil that’s like 10 dollars! So crazy!

Alright thanks Mom  and Dad…I love you have a great week :)  Tell Whit ,Shar, Wes and Sam I love them (didn’t hear from them this week) I’m doing good and loving my companion Elder Ortiz. We are tearing it up here We have 2 baptisms scheduled!

Love you all

July 22nd Trev got a new companion

Hey what’s up family ?...

That’s so awesome you went to Elder Gordon’s homecoming! Hearing about the bowling alley just brought tears to my eyes haha we planned doing that and being cops together so we could hangout forever I miss that kid he helped me a lot when I had rough times! He is a really good friend! We got along so good together.

Yes..  I know all the Elders with red ties. Yeah that is Elder Staker. He’s such a cool kid!

He went to Riverton High with Dallas.

That’s cool he might paint the Horse trailer…What color?

Yeah I do have a purifier but I’m feeling so much better now that I’ve been buying water :)

It’s so weird that now I’m one of the older missionaries!

I didn’t get transferred but I got a new companion! Yeah ..I’m with a local that has never taught before never been a local missionary and never done divisions with missionaries its AWESOMEEE! He’s so cool ha he doesn’t teach very much but he really loves to be teaching and working!!!!! He is a little fat kid he is like 5 ‘4 about 180 so a little rolly pully but he’s so funny his name is Juan Ortiz. He doesn’t have a name tag so everyone just wonders what’s going on ….but its alright! We’ve been tearing it up out here! We went  out and found about 15 new investigators this week and just worked a ton! It feels really good to have a comp that wants to work! So Juan lives with me but I feel bad because he doesn’t have much cloths or anything … His family didn’t really have time to prepare for this! He will get his mission call in a couple weeks so we will get on a bus and go to his area when the mission call comes….I’m pretty excited haha  This is like a Per Mission for him.

We had 25 missionaries go home last change and only had 6 come out so they didn’t want to shut down a bunch of areas so they asked some bishops to find people from there wards and my comps dad is a bishop our in the boonies here in Paraguay. So pretty much training but its hard cause he didn’t have the mtc experience or never done any splits with missionaries….Greenie for sure!

My old comp got transferred out far with one of my friends I was super bummed that my buddy had to deal with it now but maybe he can better than I did It was just a tough situation.

I left my camera  at the house I forgot it so I will send lots of pictures next week.

Goshhh that’s horrible about Sharla! …I just started my fast! I love you family! gosh that scaryyy!

It’s “P” day today I made corndogs and played soccer then I hung out with Elder Andrel he is from Jordan High and now we are going to go look for a hoodie because it’s so cold here and I lost my voice ha.

I love you lot’s

A LATE letter this week... Wednesday July 10th

So our meeting with the new Mission President and his family was really cool . They came up to me and said how happy they were to have a Osborne here in Paraguay! The whole family seems really cool!

Sorry I didn’t write on Monday. We had a guy fixing our house and yesterday I couldn’t leave the house because I  was so sick. I’m not feeling so hot again… but just my luck!

We didn’t have our baptisms last week and I was pretty upset about it. We went to talk to the little girls family and her dad said he wouldn’t let it happen said he is going to make her decisions for his kids until they die! I was hoping that my companion would try to help me talk to the family because he is Latino and has a lot in common with them…But he doesn’t like to talk to people. He doesn’t like to work at all. I’m hoping for a new companion. I feel really stressed!! I’m really home sick right now! Arrgg   Will you all pray for me to get a new comp? I’ve had this special assignment for going on 3 months and I need a comp that wants to do the work.  I don’t know how much the New Mission President knows about the situation. Elder Armstrong does and he works in the office. It would be pretty awesome if I get changes this next week tho…

Elder Gordon leaves tomorrow for home! Today he is spending the day with the New Mission President and Family. He is going home a week early for Baseball. I’m going to miss that guy!

So Whit is having a boy… So Cool! Naming him Trey? .. kinda like Trevy…

Stay Classy!

Love you Family

Elder Osborne

July 1st

Hey Family!~

I didn’t take my camera out that much this week so sorry… I  need to be better at it!

But this is from teaching little Nicole she’s 9 and super funny, she’s scared of water so we will see what happens this week if we have a baptism or not..LOL

This week was a good one.  We have had way good lunch dates. The best and most food I’ve had in Paraguay.

In this area its cold here but the sun is finally showing its pretty nice. Thursday we have our meeting to meet our new Mission President  (kinda cool!)

I’m excited today , my buddy  Elder Wolfgram came over and I made chicken tacos and it was delicious!!! Yesterday we didn’t have a lunch appointment so we went over to our(I don’t’ know the word in English… like house owners?) and they made us lunch and I was teasing them saying how nice it would be to have a grill in our house so they gave us a grill! ha ha so next week we are cooking some asado with Elder Wolfgram and his comp pretty stoked about it!

In our ward 4 kids just got there mission calls they leave in October!

I’m so use to the heat now that I freeze to death when its anything lower than 75 now the summer is like 120 with humid so the  last 4 days has been only time we have seen the sun in almost 2 months!

I didn’t end up buying the med’s for the parasite yet because I just got money today I will probably end up getting it today. I need to keep drinking bottled water ha ha … its helped!

So changes are scheduled for July 17th (so in 2 weeks time ) time is starting to go fast …its weird haha I like that it is tho :)

Today I’m emailing Thyane, Navajo, Jovan, and Max I have been writing them a lot lately. It’s been great! I haven’t heard from Zach in a while but I can’t remember if I wrote him back.

Elder Gordon goes home in less than 2 weeks I’m super bummed!

Sounds like your working on the barn this week that’s sweet!

The sun is finally started shinning here! Its nice. I was getting called Edward from twilight so I’m excited to get some color again and not be so white!

We have a baptism this week and one next week and another the week after hopefully 3 this month pretty cool this week this 9 year old girl Nicole she’s super funny and we go and play uno with them and teach them and they got reactivated. It’s been a different experience with this Companion. My companion he won’t leave the house unless we are going somewhere fun or going to play a game . He is 26 and been my special assignment for the last few changes. It’s been a challenge. I really love having fun always too so we get along its just stressful that he doesn’t like to do teaching appointments or anything! He Just want’s to sit around the house and it has been a struggle. I’m hoping more than anything we get changes but I don’t know if we will because the new Mission President doesn’t know the situation or how long people have been together….

Love you all! Talk with you next week..

Stay classy!

June 24th

Me and my Comp are getting along a lot better now and having a better time!
This week we had a division with our zone leaders. I went with Elder Blackmore (my 2nd companion from Canada) It was wicked cool because I could actually help him teach this time! When I had him as a companion I couldn’t speak at all! So it was pretty fun.. It’s nice hanging with old companions!

My Companion and I had to prepare talks for sacrament meeting and I had  mine all ready and my comp didn’t have one at all ready so at church on Sunday I had to bless and pass the sacrament so when the Bishop’s reading off  who is going to speak in church he mentions my comp’s name!! It was so funny. He was so bummed because he wasn’t prepared at all! Those are the good times!

I’m still teaching my primary class.

We  didn’t get to see the world wide training we were going to go but it was raining so bad and we haven’t gotten our clothes back from our laundry lady for almost 2 weeks and I’m on my last shirt and socks so I couldn’t get wet haha. It has rain everyday for almost 2 months it’s miserable! ( I guess it is winter here from June until August). Ourlaundry lady cannot hang out the laundry because it has rained everyday so I have been wearing the same shirt for 3 days!!! I was thinking of buying a sweater today…I was going to buy some shoes but it’s so cold here. I’m having a hard time sleeping because it’s so cold here!

We have a couple baptisms next week I’m pretty excited! We were teaching this girl named Liz and we always invite the neighbor over because she’s a member and both of her daughters are not members so we start talking and the little 9 year old one wants to get baptized so we are hoping to be able to get it done soon!

Today I just went to hung out with Rigby for his Birthday. And a buddy from Tonga.

Dad-I found out that I have parasite they gave me some medicine to get rid of it hopefully can get better soon. I just want to be a healthy man! It’s been so hard for me to see other missionaries and they seem to have it so easy all the time..

Who would have known that my health on my mission would be my biggest trial!! I just want to feel good!

I got food poisoning or something this week…I’ve been sick all week. I just feel so drained and tired today!

I am teaching a old lady that is exactly like Grandma Morgan ….she reminds me of her so much! It’s been so fun!

How is Grandpa Osborne doing?  How is Grandma Great?

I was thinking about irrigation days on the farm.. that was a good time! I miss that stuff, oh man!

I draw a lot  here and a lady asked me if she could pay me to draw animals all over her house {like the inside of her house…haha pretty funny huh hahaha}.

Well that is pretty much what I did this week.

Sure love you Fam!

Elder Osborne

June 17th

Hey Fam…

This week was just a normal week. Nothing too cool happened. I just worked.

Yesterday was way funny ....The family lopez forgot their 2 kids at church !! They usually leave right after sacrament and the kids stay and the older daughter takes them home but yesterday she left them so we were just hangin’ out and little Camillia comes crying hugs me. (She is 9 and  her little brother is 5)  Santi is the brothers name. We had to walk them home and the whole walk home we were practicing our angry faces to make the older sister feel horrible for leaving them ha ha . The parents felt so bad when we got there they us to eat lunch with them so we got to eat steak and sausage!!! The food was awesome! I always feel bad to eat with them because they are so poor. They get most of there money from the church they are the family that takes care of our laundry and feed us and the other missionaries during the week and me almost every night. They call us over to drink mate dulce or cosido! They love playing Uno with us!

Today is P day and we just came into town to look for some shoes I can’t find my size anywhere. So next week I  will try again.

It’s getting winter here and it is so freakin cold again! I thought winter already happened here but I guess it was like fall or something?  The weather here is extreme!

We might have lost Liz as an investigator… She’s not sure about getting married now.. The people are funny here and don’t understand that they are living in sin if they are not married and living together.

The work is slow…

Our district leader talked to me concerning  my companion. He doesn’t think he will be allowed to go to Brazil because the church isn’t going to spend money on sending a problem child all over the place. I only have 4 more weeks. I will endure.

I love you Family!

Talk to you next week

Love

Elder Osborne

Hey family!...What’s up?

Today I went back to my old area with my buddy’s Elder Wolfgram and Elder Mierda {his names hilarious in Spanish..I guess you will have to ask Weston) ha ha . It was so fun to visit Piquete cue . That little girl remembered me and ran up to me gave me a huge hug the kids there were sooo cool!

I’m still in my same area with my same comp the city is Lauralty its by Luque.

I’m trying everything to gain weight I don’t want to be skinny anymore so I bought this box of alfajores and I just eat like 6 a day there like cake and kinda like hostess .. but way better! I’m also trying the protein I just started this this week so hoping in the next couple weeks I can gain some weight!

That awesome about Mattea! She’s super smart!!!! Super cool about Champ and Indie. Sounds like she is going to have a great 4-H year! Does Lou still ride?

We got a new district leader and he’s a professional soccer player its pretty cool cause all the other missionaries like his team but I like the other team …. It makes things interesting …! ha ha

My buddy Elder Rigby is training a kid from Columbia. crazy right ?

Freakin’ Inje ….Is finally coming back to America? So cool! Me and Elder Gordon are going to try to adopt Elder Ardaya ( he’s way cool we still don’t know how but it would be cool !).

My week we had district meeting on Tuesday and we went  to say goodbye to our old district leader he went home.  On Tuesdays we cook at home my comp doesn’t eat so I made me spaghetti used my last spaghetti packet from you –Would love some more if you get around to it.

Every Tuesday night we go to this family Poreto and have a family night and then watch soccer with them we have to pick a team and the team that loses has to bring a cake to the next weeks family night its pretty cool . So last week the team Olympia vs Cerro and I like Cerro because no one else does so I picked them we were walking around I had my red blue tie my red blue bracletes and no one would let us in! ha ha I  picked them because they suck and the other team always wins so my team ended up tying them and everyone had all these excuses why the worst team tied the best ha idk good time!!!

Wednesday  we went to a house and there was just a letter and said the foods in the fridge just cook it so my comp started frying our food and didn’t cook it at all we looked and were eating raw chicken thought it was cooked cause the outside was black but no chance ha ha.

My favorite day is on Thursday because we are with this way cool family Lopez. They are super nice they have 2 daughters about to  go on missions.  My ward  that we are in right now has 5 girls about to go on missions.. its crazy!

We go to the family Lopez almost every night to play uno and they make hot chocolate and rolls so its nice! They have been good to take care of us!

On Fridays we eat with this family Fernandez there the hardest family I’ve had to deal with just cause I cant relate to anything with them they think Im a nerd because I played basketball and football. The mom does like parties for pokemon and yugio. I seriously have nothing to relate to them its super hard!

Saturday we have lunch with the bishop he usually only has us for lunch when he needs a favor or if he’s asking us to give talks.

It takes us about an hour to walk to his house.

Sundays we eat with a different Fernandez there legit they love basketball .

We have these way cool families that we are teaching right now. This girl  named Liz she’s very in to the church and wanting to learn she loves listening and talking to us.

We also have this girl named Jasmine she’s really cool (she’s 11 years old) she is waiting for her mom and dad to get married before she gets baptized so she can be baptized with her mom.

We also have the neighbors across the street from our house they are wicked cool last Monday when we were going  home he sat by my comp on the bus and I thought  he was just a friend and he told my comp he’s been going to church for 5 months just moved but he wants to go with us when he can he just got a new job so its hard for him to get to church and its hard to tell people don’t work Sundays when they have so little already .

Things are going good!

I love you family!

Stay Classy!

June 3rd

What's up Family?
This week was some good times !!! I'ts wicked hot here now!

We had a meeting with one of the 70's..I think it was on Tuesday the days just go by so fast!..
It was way cool! He was super funny! He was Americana and served a mission in Paraguay he said there were only 10 missionaries here when he served and as right now we have 140 we had 200 but losing some...It has really grown!
So, I have a pretty wicked story to tell you~ This girl were teaching (liz )we keep teaching her, She  is 20 Yrs old and has a baby . She has been pretty good at coming to church every week but she needs to get married. Last week her baby got really really sick and her boyfriend blamed her for it (weird) and almost left her for it! so crazy.. We were hoping for a wedding but we don't know what's going to happen now.

We are teaching this lady. We went to see her and it was time for us to leave and I said "well its your turn! to pray  and she said that she wanted me to do it. So I told her that if she didn't pray with just me and my companion that she would have to tomorrow when we have church and your gonna have to do it in front of everyone. (I thought that would get her to pray for us...but she said that she wanted to pray at church the next day). I didn't think much more about it and the next day was testimony meeting and she gets up and prays during testimony meeting!!!! it was hilarious !!!!!  It was a good time! :)

So tonight we will get changes. I'm kinda worried (Like always!) about it because I don't know my area very well but whatever happens happens I guess!

Elder Gordon asked our Mission President if I could be his last companion before he goes home. That would be sooo cool I hope it happens but idk!

I love you family!

P.S
I didn't get changes mom but my poly buddy is coming to the area right next to mine I'm pretty excited!
This week I'm going to get the pill (The bomb ) and get all this junk out of my system. I'm going to get feeling better Mom... I promise!

I brought my camera to download some pictures but forgot my cord! I know I haven't been very good sending pics--I promise to be better!

Stay Classy!
