May 28th

Last week we had zone conference and we heard about our new Mission President they said next week were going to have some huge changes in our mission. They said that almost every companion ships will have changes and some missionaries will leave to go to Argentina and some will go to the South mission! We will lose 60 missionaries we only have 200 missionaries so its a big number leaving!... crazy right???
I guess we will find out next week what happens to me...

This week we found some cool people to teach. But none of them came to church this week...sad but its alright
maybe next week they will come!

Family~

Craziest thing happened to me this week..I had a dream and when I woke up I thought I was at home and looked over and was here on a mission it was weird!

We had a baptism this last Saturday... It was steller!  After the baptism we taught a class and they said I was the funniest American they had ever met.... haa haa  Good times (I don't think they have met too may Americans)!    I was talking to the other missionaries about how everyone always  say "Doesn't  the time go by fast!   Mom, you wouldn't believe it was me saying it !   I really doesn't feel like I've been gone a year!

This week was different.  We went to invite some people to our baptism and went to this old guys and he was drunk he got mad because I didn't understand him! I ended up getting punched! but i just laughed it off and thought it was a sweet memory haha. (not one of my best memories)

This ones a cool story-We  invited this lady to church. 20 year old girl and she didn't seem very interested but then the next day and church I'm up on the stand giving a talk and she walks in with 2 other people with her!!! It was pretty cool! she brought a friend and called her boss and invited him too !   It was wicked cool!

We have  5 ready for baptism but 2 of them have to get married first.

So me and my comp are getting along better. I'm teaching him some English. I have post it notes all around the house teaching him words. It has really helped our relationship. I call Elder Gordon every night and we compare how well our companions are learning English. We both are teaching our companions... it keeps things interesting!  Some times we teach them funny words out of the dictionary that are not normally used in our everyday language....Its fun!

It's been raining a fool here! My knee is aching like crazy. The weather is really affecting it.

Next week I will send the picture of the water-- I took a drink of the water at church and felt something in my mouth- I spit it out and there were like 50 little bugs in it.... Gross

I'm drinking bottled water now... It's expensive. Sorry I have to dip into my account again.

May 6th birthday letter!!!!

Hey Family ..What's up?

I'm doing alright ..I was in the hospital last week ( On Tuesday) they thought I had dengay again. I had to stay in the house on lock down (Mission Presidents orders) for 48 hrs. They said next time I get it they would send me home!
So every time I  have a fever I have to go to the hospital to get checked for dengay!
but I'm okay :) I just still feel super sleepy.
I have mosquito spray that I use. The thing is its a virus, so it's not just mosquito's anyone that has it can pass it so its just being careful right now there are 20 missionaries with it.
I was the only one that had it last year ha ha gosh dang it right ha ha
I hated being on lock down ...seriously I have to be out of the house! I feel super stressed right now because my comp doesn't like to work! He wouldn't leave the house and wouldn't plan with me and doesn't even know where our lunch appointments are so its very stressful !!!  I feel like I have a temper with him (The guy is 25 years old!!! so its kinda stressful !)   Our mission president has been calling him his whole mission trying to get him to get motivated just to work!
I was so mad about this exchange because I just like to work. I like to be out of the house visiting with the members and looking for people to teach (and he doesn't like to leave it!).  This companion is a real struggle for me!
Even on p-day he just wanted to sleep and I wouldn't allow that on my Birthday so he is  still mad at me but ... whatever!
He is going to leave to Brazil next month.

Thanks for the package! I love you all so much!!! I read some of the letters you wrote but I'm trying to save some of them so I don't get to much lovin' in one day! ;) ha  ha I  want to spread it out cause getting letters is the best! I love you so much!  When I pulled out all the letters and my friend Elder Rigby said...Dang your family really does loves you!!! ha

Elder Rigby wanted to go to the city for my Birthday to go to pizza hut so me Rigby, Elder Hatch (Sarah Anderson's cousin) and Elder Svedin all went into the city... it was a blast That was yesterday!
Rigby is awesome ! I call him all the time !
I went over to a member family's house. They made me a cake and sang to me and it was funny!!! They have weird traditions...put there arms around me and splashed eggs on my head and threw flour all over me ha ha and I grabbed some cake and smashed it in there faces ha ha ...
They love me now! It was funny! when we left they told me I was the first Elder to throw the cake back ha ha.
I really have a good time I love being with cool members!  I have some pictures on their camera I will have to get them. It's this old lady that made me the cake and she's hilarious!


Mom, I'm going to call you on Saturday. There is no where open on Sunday where we could do it!
alright mom? I love you! I will talk to you on Saturday face to face wahoooo!!!

Elder Osborne

April 29th

Hey family this week has been very stressful!
I got transferred. I'm not the senior companion we both share it. My new companion is Elder Farera He is from Argentina. As soon as we got in the taxi to go to our house ...The first thing he says is "Do you like to work?" I said yeah,I don't like sitting around in the house because I get home sick and he said "dang it, workings really not for me!".
I got super mad and have had a hard time with him since! The guy never stops talking...He talks 24/7.
Today I had to go to the office and the hermana asked me "what's wrong?" and I was a little angry and said do you hear the ringing by me! it never turns off! ( my comps voice! ) he never stops talking!!!!! He is 26 years old and just I don't know what to do....I will grow from it right?? ha ha

We went to visit our investigators and every single one is a what we call snake it's the girls that just like the missionaries because the comp before me here was known for kissing all the girls in Paraguay! So I had to drop all of our investigators and its like we are opening it all over again. It's super stressful but its alright.

Today I met that Elder that dad asked me to look for ( Maddox's nephew) It was so sweet!

I'm excited my new zone leader is Elder Blackmore he was my companion from Canada so that is kinda cool!
Yeah that's sad about Grandma Great tell her I love her and I need her to be there at the airport waiting for me!
I love her lot's ahh that's sad I know she will be there. I remember sitting there at her house when the doctor said she wouldn't make it!
This is my richest area for sure! I'm here in Laureta. It isn't a really in the city but its close to the city.
The members seem pretty sweet. It use to be just a Sister area but they changed it because there is the most violence and drugs in my area so I guess its scary place but its cool ha.

I have a gym in my house. I will take a bunch of pictures this week and get them sent over to you next Monday.
umm I have a parrot!
There are birds and horses but I don't see any monkeys around here.
We have some investigators a lady named Mirta were trying to get her married by the 18th so we can baptize her,the daughter and husband!

I'm not feeling very well again. I have the worst head ache I've ever had! my eyes feel like my brains trying to crawl out!
My back and knee are killing me during the night and I can't sleep.:( but hey, prayers is what i need !

So we left the internet cafe' to go home so I could get Advil we were waiting for a bus I told my comp I didn't feel so good and I threw up waiting for the bus!
So we get on the bus and I'm standing up and threw up all over some people!
so we hop off the bus cause I'm so embarassed that I just threw up on some people haha
I just lay in the street pucking!!!! I called the nurse and she told me to just go home and sleep and get feeling better cause they don't know why I'm always sick!
gosh dangit
I'm just hoping its not dengay!
that's all I'm worried about!.....I will be okay
